STUDYING Genesis 1-22 and Colossians in 2026-2027

Come and study the book of Genesis and Colossians with us!

Our class meets for 30 weeks, September 3, 2026 - May 6, 2027.

Each class participant receives a course book with a Commentary and Home Study Questions. Each week, you’ll participate in small group discussion time and a large group Teaching. From time to time, fellowship meals will provide special times of sharing and relationship-building within the class. Online classes are also available.

In person adult core groups available in English and Spanish. Cost for Adults is $40.

Classes meet:

Tuesdays (live-online) from 7:00-8:00 pm, beginning September 8, 2026.

Thursday (in-person) from 10:45am-12:35pm at 18131 Nassau Bay Dr. Houston TX 77058, beginning September 3, 2026.

Thursday (live-online) from 10:45am-11:45am or 7:00-8:00 pm, beginning September 3, 2026.

Children's program for 2026-2027 serves babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and early elementary (~K-1st grade) through a 3-year rotating CBS curriculum. Late elementary (~3rd grade+), middle school, and high school students will study age-appropriate material over Genesis and Colossians concurrently with the adult study. Cost for Children is $10 each.

ABOUT THE CLASS

We are currently offering both In-Person core groups and Live-Online core groups. In addition to our Thursday morning in-person class, we are offering three live-online (Zoom) groups (Central Time Zone). They are as follows:

Tuesdays (beginning Sept 8) 6:30 pm

Thursdays (beginning Sept 3) 10:45 am & 7:00 pm

Currently Studying: Colossians, Genesis

Our next study will be Genesis 1-22 and Colossians.

Genesis is a book of beginnings. It is the place where we discover the God who formed Creation.

Colossians is a letter written to combat error in the church. Paul points believers to Jesus as the Head of His body the church

Next Gen Ministry

Through a variety of activities such as Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, crafts, music, skits and games, we provide a caring community where children and youth can learn about the love of Jesus. We desire to come alongside parents as they teach and train their children to live God’s truth. We welcome your family to experience the love of Jesus through the loving servants in our CBS NextGen Ministry. Ethnos

CBS desires to provide in-depth Bible study to those for whom English is not their first language. The Clear Lake, TX class is excited to offer a Spanish-speaking core group during our in-person day class. Participants will be provided with lesson books in Spanish and be led through the weekly discussion questions by our bilingual Ethnos core group leader.
