Community Bible Study

Class will begin at a NEW TIME starting Thursday September 4th at 10:45 am
In person adult core groups available in English and Spanish. Cost for Adults is $35.
Online adult core groups studying Psalms available Tuesday evening, Thursday morning and Thursday evening.
Children's program for 2025-2026 serve babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and early elementary (~K-1st grade) through a 3-year rotating CBS curriculum. Late elementary (~3rd grade+), middle school, and high school students will study age-appropriate material over Psalms concurrent with the adult study. Cost for Children is $10 each.
STUDYING THE GOSPEL OF MATTHEW in 2024-2025
Come see what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible. Our classes meet for 30 weeks, September 5, 2024 - May 6, 2025. Each class participant receives a course book with a Commentary and Home Study Questions. Each week, you’ll participate in Small Group Discussions and a Large Group Teaching. From time to time, fellowship meals will provide special times of sharing and relationship-building within the class. Online classes are also available.
Classes meet:
Tuesdays (live-online) from 6:30-7:45 pm, beginning September 3, 2024.
Thursday (in-person) from 9:15-11:30 am at 622 El Dorado Boulevard, Houston, Texas 77062, beginning September 5, 2024.
Thursday (live-online) from 9:15-10:30 am or 7:00-8:00 pm, beginning September 5, 2024.
NextGen children's classes (Baby-18 years) are also available for those in our in-person Thursday morning class!
Space is still available for late elementary, middle school, and high school students. There is currently a waiting list for early elementary, preschool, toddlers/infants.

We are currently offering both In-Person core groups and Live-Online core groups. In addition to our Thursday morning in-person class, we are offering three live-online (Zoom) groups (Central Time Zone). They are as follows:
Tuesdays (beginning Sept 5) 6:30 pm
Thursdays (beginning Sept 7) 9:15 am & 7:00 pm

Next Gen Ministry
Through a variety of activities such as Bible teaching, Scripture memory work, crafts, music, skits and games, we provide a caring community where children and youth can learn about the love of Jesus. We desire to come alongside parents as they teach and train their children to live God’s truth. We welcome your family to experience the love of Jesus through the loving servants in our CBS NextGen Ministry.
There is currently a waitlist for babies, toddlers, preschoolers, and young elementary. Space is still available for older elementary, middle school, and high school students.

Ethnos
CBS desires to provide in-depth Bible study to those for whom English is not their first language. The Clear Lake, TX class is excited to offer a Spanish-speaking core group during our in-person day class. Participants will be provided with lesson books in Spanish and be led through the weekly discussion questions by our bilingual Ethnos core group leader.
